ORDERING ADVISE Ordering from Broadwood Handling Equipment is easy. You have two options simply browse through the extensive range of material handling equipment available on this Website and when you are ready order either; • Call us with your credit card details and we will ensure you are ordering the right product for the task. DELIVERY POLICY The majority of our products are quoted as a delivered price and applies for mainland England, Wales & Scotland. However, if you place an orders to a value of less than £100, then an additional £12. 50 handling charge will be added to cover the cost of delivery. This charge will be clearly displayed on any quotation. We at Broadwood Handling Equipment try where possible to make it our policy to absorb the costs of delivery charges. However, on larger items, and with rising carriage costs and surcharges from carriers, it is possible that we may have to charge a carriage cost. In the event that this applies to your order we will contact you before processing your order and your card will not be debited without your instruction. Our transport company will usually deliver between 9am and 5pm Mondays to Friday. Orders are usually delivered within 7 to 10 days. An extra delivery charge will be applicable for deliveries to Isle of Man, Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, Scotland, Isle of Wight, Jersey, Guernsey. Please contact our Sales team for details. Next Day Delivery can be arranged(subject to stock availability) if requested but may incur additional costs. Please contact us to discuss.
Discounts for collections If you are able to collect your goods you may be entitled to discount. Please contact our Sales team to discuss.
Sending items to more than one address
We can deliver all or part of your order to addresses other than your own. Please contact us to arrange.
TERMS & CONDITIONS OF AN ORDER Orders
Orders accepted by Broadwood Handling Equipment Ltd shall be subject to our full standard conditions of sale, a copy of which is available on request. All orders are subject to acceptance in accordance with our Order acceptance policy. We reserve the right to refuse to supply any customer.
We will take all reasonable care, in so far as it is in our power to do so, to keep the details of your order and payment secure, but in the absence of negligence on our part we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering from the Website.
REFUNDS & RETURNS POLICY We are sure you will be entirely satisfied with all products purchased through our website. However in the unlikely event that you wish to return an item to us, please telephone us to arrange. You will be liable for cost of return delivery. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Cancelation of an order can only be accepted within 3 days of order being placed.
Payment is required with all orders unless prior approved credit account has been arranged. Payment may be by cheque (allow time for clearance), credit card ( Mastercard, Visa, PayPal, Switch, Delta) or bank transfer ( BACS ).
Goods in any contract shall remain the property of Broadwood Handling Equipment Ltd until paid for in full. However goods will be at the purchaser's risk once delivered.
Any dispatched estimates quoted by us are given in good faith. We will not be liable for any failure to meet such estimates. We reserve the right to make part deliveries. All goods dispatched are the responsibility of the transport company once products have been dispatched.
Technical descriptions and data are given in good faith without responsibility. Whilst we take care to ensure that all details, descriptions and prices of Products appearing on the Website are correct at the time when the information was entered onto the system, we cannot be held responsible for any errors in this information.
Broadwood Handling Equipment Ltd reserve the right to amend designs and specifications without notice. All load capacities stated are for evenly distributed loads used on reasonable surfaces. If your specifications are vital please make sure this is known on time of ordering.
Health and Safety
All products are sold in good working order. If you are a Reseller, you must ensure that goods provided by Broadwood Handling Equipment Ltd are fit for the purpose intended by the end user and the use of such goods should at all times comply with all current Health and Safety requirements. Care must be taken to avoid any risk inherent in use. All equipment must be maintained adequately. All operators must be trained.
We shall have no liability to you for any failure or delay in supply or delivery for any damage or defect to goods supplied or delivered caused by any event or circumstances beyond our control (including, without limitation, strikes, lockouts and other industrial disputes)Availability
All products are offered subject to availability. We reserve the right to withdraw any Products from this Website at any time and/or remove or edit any materials or content on this Website.
All information and pricing contained on our website is correct at time of entering on the system. Whilst we endeavour to ensure these prices are correct, we reserve the right to amend our prices without notice in the event of unforeseen changes.
All prices are exclusive of VAT and are correct at the time of entering the information onto the system. VAT will be added (where applicable) at the current rates in force at the time of sale. Payment can be made by any of the methods specified in the Ordering Advice section of this Website.
All credit/debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to or does not, for any reason, authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.
Return of Goods
Goods in good condition will only be accepted for return by prior written agreement with 14 days of receipt. A handling charge may be imposed. Goods manufactured specially for Reseller will not be accepted for credit.
Non Delivery and Damaged Goods
If goods have not been received within 14 days of invoice we must be advised immediately. Goods must be inspected before signing the goods received paperwork any shortages or damage must be written on the drivers documents and must be reported to us within 3 days of delivery. Carriers will only accept claims for damage if the delivery sheet is marked "GOODS DAMAGED". Minor blemishes to paint whilst in transit will not be accepted as reason for rejection of product.
